First game was a great time. SAFC is really a good venue and the crowd was very supportive and into it.

The drumline suuuuuucked, but they were tryin.

The venue is great the team is good as well I just hope that MLS takes our bid seriously! I know that we have a major disadvantage of not having a downtown stadium as that's what MLS is really hung up on lately

It would be REALLY nice if, at some point, they tear down the Alamodome and put a really nice retractable roof stadium there which could hold world class soccer or football fixtures.

we can all wish but unfortunately that wont happen especially since they put all of the money to renovate certain things in it recently.

IMO the Alamodome is the answer for just about anything.

Seats 20-30K in "arena" format
Seats 65-75K in full football format
Centrally located
Club level
Premier Suites

But in today's world of specialist stadiums, it's never going to happen.

Nope and unfortunately I don't think MLS thinks we would put enough people in the Alamo Dome unfotunately

I don't mean like Jerry World. More like a 40k setup that would be a great venue for UTSA and soccer (SAFC/USWNT/USMNT/CONCACAF). Retractable roof. Roll in and out surfaces.

San Antonio certainly does not need a behemoth, 80k+ venue.
