Howdy howdy,

I had one, sold it thinking I'd like the analog stuff, and miss the exercise features, data recordings, and other things.


Looking for either a Gen 1 or 2, preferably under $500.

If that's what you liked about the apple watch you should look into the Garmim watches. I have the Fenix 7X and do not miss my apple watch one bit. Battery life is 30x what the apple watch can do.

Yeah you have to download the Garmin connect app (which is in every way superior to the apple product).

I highly recommend saving a few more dollars and getting the Fenix or Epix. I had the Instinct for about 48 hours before I traded it in for the Fenix and am very glad that I did.
