I remember watching the news on that tragic day as the helicopters flew over the scene with all those bodies. I was fairly young but I remember just feeling sick about it all.

Seriously, I haven't been able to drink grape Kool-Aid since. I'm not sure that aversion is going to change now that I know it was Flavor Aid...

...besides, I prefer "Maroon"

historical note...very troubling that at one time Jim Jones was accepted in 1970's San Francisco politics as mainstream. He served on city commissions.

Yes LSD used to be legal children.
Furthermore ...... marijuana was legal prior to 1937 and both heroin and morphine was legal prior to 1914 and could be ordered/purchased from the Sears & Roebuck mail order catalog.
Strange but true.

Muy,

Yes they used to come to CS often...I remember seeing them at Parthenon a few times. For those of you younger than 35....The Parthenon turned into The Tap I believe.

I totally remember the Parthenon, a complete euro-club in College Station.

I keep waiting for the "Kool Aid Jug" to come out with the perfect color of Cerveza Corona/Sol/Modelo with salt and a lime on the rim.

I already drink enough of it, but a tshirt with that logo proping the right beer would be a classic.

Much like the Buckwheat shirts of the 80's for Corona drinkers who were old enough to love the "Little Rascals"
