Does Norman have any place decent to 2 step? That will be the deciding factor in where we stay.

The bigger question is: What do I do if I need emergency dental work in Oklahoma?

I guess you just drive back to Texas since they don't have need for a dentist in Oklahoma (actually, I think they share a dentist with Arkansas).

don't know much about Norman, but OKC is the place to be that weekend. Most people will be around Bricktown on Friday night.

Thank God, no! It's Norman, not stillwater. Everyone on here saying Bricktown is probably right. Wormy Dog is a country bar down there and will be busy.

There use to be a good place out at I-40 and Meridian (Incahoots). I think it's still a country bar but don't know anything about it, so I can't say if it's worth going or not.

midnight yell is usually in front of the ballpark downtown I don't think they 2-step at the Wormy Dog mostly rock & roll biker atmosphere. If you want all country 2 stepping all the time I'd probably stay out near Mederian & I-40 (plenty of nice hotels for the airport area).
Incahoots is now Cowboys (on Meridian north of airport) with big dance floor and mech. bull, also Graham's is mostly country (Reno & Portland near that area)those are the 2 best steppin places that I'd recommend.
Toby Keith's I love this Bar,(Bricktown) has live music every Fri. & Sat with a big dancefloor but I've only eaten there.

Bricktown is the best place to be. Plenty of food & drink options & everything's within walking distance. The OKC bombing memorial is a few blocks north, definitely try to see that while you're there. It's especially touching after dark.

Bricktown is so-so...cheap knock-off of SA's Riverwalk, but you fill any place with Aggies and you've got a good time!

I stay in OKC/Bricktown almost every week for work. Some nice hotels and good places to go eat and drink. Never stayed in Norman though.

Depends on what kind of people you want to be around, the norman crowd will be 25 and under stuck up a holes flaunting their parents money, and in bricktown there will be a mid 20's - 30's crowd still plenty of talent, ate at the hooters in bricktown on the way back from ok st. last year, not the best line-up i've seen, it was late on a sunday afternoon and we were still in pain from the night before
