AliasNot so Genius...
I don't know if the original poster is a student or not. The original poster was commenting on the price of student tickets, w/out a pass. Based on the post,
we don't even know if the original poster is going to game, or planning on going to the game, or just commenting on something they see as a fact.
There was a response:
quote:
What kind of "student"- not an AGGIE- doesn't get a sportspass?
This was a general question, to which I replied with an answer of the "kind of 'student'" that doesn't get a sportspass.
wheelzSure you can still have some great holidays. I was making a point, defending why some people miss games, or may not find buying a sportspass a wise investment. I worked one Christmas Eve, and left work at 3:30am on Christmas Day. Got home at around 7am, and had to turnaround the next morning having to be at work by 11am in CS. For me, it was a fact of life, and as disappointing as it was to miss certain things, it was the way it was... But people don't need people questioning their motives, and belittling them, just because they might be from privelage. Yes, some people have/had more money than others, it is part of our Socio-Economic world. I was making sure that someone perched in privelage might actually consider not everyone is wealthy.
FriscoExactly.

Yeah, given the choice of being in college, or going to a football game... I'll take my degree.
AggieJenYou go girl...
RestI'm not complaining... I just take exception to someone questioning another Ag who may not be able to make it to games.
Go to the games, and and try to do it without using any services... like going to a gas station, eating at a restraunt, or staying at a hotel. There are jobs filled by students that keep them from going to games.
