Back in October, 2000, a poster by the name of Grumpy started a thread entitled "I am the 12th Man!". It became a classic and was resurrected a couple of times. Those of you who were on TexAgs back then might remember it. It contained some very moving as well as some extremely hilarious posts by folks which showed their willingness to "stand at the ready" if they were needed by the team....height, weight, 40 times, etc. were also included.

I have searched for the thread but unfortunately cannot find it so felt that maybe we could start another. As our game with Texas Tech draws near this week, I know the burning desire in each of you to do your part as the 12th Man is strong. Show it.

I'm short but fast. I can run the 40 like Flash Gordon...especially if I'm at the mall during a big sale. I might be small but my heart is big and my burning desire to beat the hell outta Texas Tech is huge. I'll be in the stands if you need me.

Coach, I'm 6'2, 235 lbs. I've been sitting on the couch a bit more lately, but I'm still ready to participate should you need me. There is a small issue of me using up all of my eligibility, but if OU players can go to "fake" work, I'm sure you can work something out for me to lineup in Maroon.

I have to be honest when I say that I am very scared of Javorskie Lane turning me into stone if I look at him too long, but if we can avoid that I'm good to go.

So coach, section 119 is where I'll be, and if you need me, I'm in the stands.
