More than any post I've read, I NEED us to BTHO Tech. I'm getting my PhD out here in Lubbock and don't want these little undergrads to come into the class I'm teaching on Tuesday with ANYTHING to say about the game. I won't be there, but my wife and I will still be yelling for all we're worth.

Coach, this Saturday I will be stuck in Georgia where the Army put me. I hear that this game will be televised regionally, so there is a chance I will finally get to see you on PPV instead of listening to you on the computer. I will be in front of my TV standing and yelling as always. My heart will ache when I see all of those empty third deck seats (just as I have for the last two years) and know that I would give anything to be in one of them every week again. I'm 5'8", 165lbs. I don't know my 40 time, but I can drive from here to there in 21 hours and am ready if you need me. I am the 12th Man.

Strengths: Hands, I will bring down anything that is close even if it entails getting my head knocked off by a SS or LB, and no matter how bad the hit is I will always pop up and go back to the huddle like it didn't phase me as long as I'm not unconscious.

Weaknesses: No speed. I am estimating a 4.8 forty but I have guarded guys in high school that ran 4.4, so I like to think I can turn it on when needed.

Last football game I played was 8th grade. I was young for that grade - only 12 years old. I was small for 12 years old, probably about 80 lbs. I couldn't bench press the bar on the machine. I could run a 6:30 mile, though.

I'm now pushing 30, but it would be more accurate to say 30 is pulling me. I'm not a huge guy, but I'm not skinny either. In shape? Uh, no. I sit a desk all day. I have two kids that basically constitute my CVR activity every day.

I'm probably more like the 14th or 15th man. Several girls out there that are probably ahead of me, too.
