Serious question. Think about it for a minute. What would you personally be willing to give in cold, hard cash if it would guarantee a MNC?

With all the talk of "when will TAMU win its next MNC" and the moaning about tu winning one, how much money would you personally be willing to give to make it happen at A&M?

You could give it all at once or pay it out over 10 years. How much?

I would give the mythical eleventy-billion dollars for the mythical national championship. To be honest we are already giving enough and we should be enjoying better seasons than 4-8, 7-5 and 5-6.

Nobody has a serious answer to this question? There is a HUGE amount of bit**ing and moaning about tu's MNC, but nobody can say how much it would be worth to you to get one at A&M?

I might give an an extra $1000 over season tickets to get an MNC, but I'm not sure it is worth that much more to me. Doesn't mean I don't want it. I just don't want to have to pay out the nose to get it.

You won’t get a valid answer because it’s a rhetorical question. It doesn’t matter how much any of us gives because it won’t make a single bit of difference. If you must know I would easily give 1000.00 dollars as a matter of fact I already do since I have 4 season tickets but strangely enough it hasn’t made a bit of difference. There is no correlation between how much I give and the product on the field.

Rhetorical or not, the question is serious. It all boils down to how much you want it and are you willing to pay for it?

No, we can't "buy" a MNC for A&M. The question is, IF you could, how much would you be willing to pay? Not complicated.

You guys aren't thinking this through. If I could pay x amount of dollars to GUARANTEE a national championship for the Ags today, I could then go and bet 10x dollars in Vegas on the Aggies to win the 2006 MNC at 1 in 1000 odds and come out WAYYYYYY ahead!!! Where do I sign up???

And we would have gotten away with it to if it weren't for the pesky sips (who were doing the exact same thing and never got caught and when they did the conference did nothing about it).
