That's actually exactly what happened.

I don't agree. It's foolish to fire him when we owe so much money, but he has lost the team. When they are laughing and joking on the sideline during a loss, he's lost them. And absent a wholesale turnover in the team at the end of the year, he ain't getting them back.

I've never understood the "go after the big name because we are entitled to have them" theme. Wake up, we are a dumpster fire that pays a sh**ton of shekels to show zero results.

A&M should focus on other things than football until the Elko nightmare is over in 2031. There is plenty else to focus on. Musk is building the most expensive building in history just 15 miles east of College Station. Focus on developing a relationship with Musk, SpaceX and Tesla. Do this and A&M will soar. Focusing on Elko will only bring you down. Save our money and then when the Elko experiment is over be smart next time and go out and get a real coach;; that is, go out and get a coach who will hold his players accountable. Elko refuses to do that. 2031 will be here before you know it.

University of Utah coach seems to be doing a pretty good job.

I thought they would at least always get solid Defense out the deal!

Bob Chesney has UCLA undefeated, has won at every level he has been coach...and has a backup QB from FCS starting last 2 games after Imalavea was lost for season.

Earlier in the year I would have agreed. at this point it wouldn't shock me if he were canned after the season. i bet money is not as big of a concern as it would seem to those of us not footing the bill. I'd bet the people paying the salaries are probably in a financial reality none of us normal earners can comprehend.

This won't happen, but Drew Svoboda is the best coach Texas A&M could get.

I expect to be completely ignored on this.

Svoboda is better for A&M than any of the Brian Kellys or Urban Meyers.

Svoboda has basically every Texas High School Football coach in his pocket. He is a Tomball HS graduate. He was an assistant at Caney Creek, Klein Collins and Oak Ridge.

A member of the Big 12 Championship Texas A&M team, Lonnie Madison, was a coordinator under him. Madison, I believe, is now at Bridgeland.

Svoboda is on the Nick Saban coaching tree. He is now Eric Morris' right hand man. He is 1-0 as a head coach having the won the New Mexico Bowl.

Oh, and you can get him at a discount right now. But, if Sam Houston fires Phil Longo and goes to grab him. Or, let's say Baylor picks up Jeff Traylor and UTSA hires Svoboda and Svoboda has success at a Group of 6 school, his price tag skyrockets. You also risk losing him to another SEC school because of his Nick Saban experience.

Svoboda is a winner. Again, I know I'll be laughed at and completely ignored.

You have to get experience guys to be your cordinators. Can't cut teeth against sec defenses. It's the playcalling that's the problem. Bama defense is horrible they run base d and that's it you have to be able to exploit it and we couldn't. Need a 5th year portal qb and a experienced play callers. Wiggins in over his head.

In order to be successful you must have the ability to score 30 plus points a game no matter the opponent.

If youre a defensive minded coach, you need to have an offensive minded coach that is multiple.

Wiggins did not build this offense, did not play in this offense and has zero feel for this offense.
