Well, he is in a pickle then because recruits are watching this disaster and not making changes looks BAD!

I think it depends. If he finishes the season going to a bowl game but winning some high profile games I think it's different.

If we continue to look like the past three weeks yes. It will be bad.

If kids see a coach who can quickly learn and change if needed, that's not a weakness.

Einstein's axiom still holds true today:

Doing the same things over and over again (trotting Reed out there) and expecting different results (ie. playing winning football) is the very definition of insanity.

You do realize that Elko was here when Jimbo did "pull the quarterbacks" and we ended up with five QBs transferring to other schools after injuries?

Maybe he learned more than you realize.

Elko sticking with Reed and the in house promotions of the 2 most critical assistant coaching positions on the team now appears to have culminated in the perfect storm. Maybe it's just 1 of the 3? Maybe 2? But when nothing is changing and we see the same thing repeated every week, we may never know where the problem lies.

This isn't a fortune 500 company this is 2026 version of college football. You don't cut teeth calling plays against SEC defenses. He isn't smart he is lazy.
