Public? I highly doubt it. Apologizing to a message board would look pretty damn weak. But to Billy? I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest. TexAgs is basically a PR arm of the program. Losing the core source of hopium wouldn't be a good move, unless Elko is in "**** this place" mode. I've already been surprised by the edge in Buchanan's game write up, and Buchanan is kinda a sing songy nice guy. That doesn't bode well for Elko.

I think an apology is in order. Alienating part of the fan base isn't the direction to go when you are underperforming. He has lost me as a supporter. I will continue to support the team, but not a fan of Elko anymore.
Why would he apologize? The comment is dumb and shows he is thin-skinned. That's about it. Maybe now the media will ask some harder questions though.

Aggie Football defies all expectations, both good & bad. It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead.

Maybe so. But that's not why this team sucks. We had no control over the product he puts on the field. He should worry about that instead of us in the cesspool. Maybe if he wins, the cesspool will dry up
