And of course he's claiming racism. The guy clearly thinks he can do whatever he wants.

It tells a lot about the seriousness with which the players give to their coach if they are inviting these dingleberries into the locker room. It's as if Elko has lost the team.

I think it speaks more to this NIL generation of players thinking they own the team now.

Back in Ol Army, Billy Pickard would have been burying these two ass clowns in a shallow grave out by the wind tunnel a few hours later.

These "influencers" live for moments like this when they can stir up crap to get more views and/or subscribers. They don't care if they look bad or were in the wrong.

Same with the salami guy.

Rinse and repeat, everyone thought sumlins practices were tougher than Sherman's then fisher's practices were so much harder than Sumlin's and then Elko's so much more accountability than Fisher. The next coach will claim the same

On what planet do the players feel emboldened enough to invite ANYONE from the outside into the locker room without the express approval from the coaching staff?

The one where they are paid more than 9/10 coaches and constantly told their **** doesn't stink. The same one most of this board wanted.

So most of this board has supported the parabolic ascension of player entitlement through NIL, rap music blaring continuously during games and any other thing, big or small, that the players want......and you're now blaming this on Elko ?

Charley, you scraped the bottom of my mental barrel by mentioning Billy Pickard. I vaguely remember the name but… That's it. Could you please refresh my memory about this gentleman?

Long time staff member during the tenure of multiple HCs. Mainly involved with training and equipment, if I recall.

I have some pretty distasteful memories of witnessing some of his tactics for keeping people off the field, but I don't want a perma-ban for mentioning them.

He was super hardcore about his job. Here's an article about him from 2013. He passed away in 2015.

Thank you so much!!!! I'm '88 so I assume we were there about the same time.

I wish he would've done a better job keeping the LSU student body off Kyle when they out scored us in '87. When they ran across the field, it single-handedly created in me a hatred for that school that has never dissipated.

Billy Pickerd was a fixture in the Aggie football program for a long time. Probably didn't make a great deal of money during the austerity years.

He is one of the many deserving ones that never lived to see us win a natty. I hope I can.

Bad loss.
Embarrassing statements
Locker room shenanigans.
