Im not so sure. Its his job to run an offense that best suits his QB and the weapons. I place the majority of the blame on Elko. I blame Wiggins too though. His offense sucks

I see our last two games going as they did because Klein gave up on figuring out which Reed was going to show up. I see Wiggins having trouble because Reed sucks in the pocket and he sucks as a scrambler/play maker. He's way to cerebral and needs to move to receiver where all that is asked of him is go hard where your told every play. It's not that he's dumb but he's probably too smart.

If I was OC and my quarterback who's being paid twice what I am sucked so bad I couldn't call a play that works I'd be pissed. I'd tank him until his protectors were removed and I was allowed to bench his ass.

Both Wiggins and Marcel Reed are problems. Its the OCs job to put his QB in successful situations, but its also on the qb to execute and i'm seeing neither from both sides

At this point, there are no successful situations to put him in. Look at the fourth down. I don't know what anyone else needs to see after that play.

I think there were some questionable play calls as well (particularly in short yardage situations run plays), but it is damn near impossible to have success when your QB has 15-18 just absolutely terrible misthrows during a game. I'm talking about passes that are 4 yards short, 8 yards over the head, 5 yard in front of receivers.

I think consistently hearing during the offseason of how great Reed was progressing and how great he was looking in practice made people believe that maybe things had changed. I continue to see the same exact bad ball placement issues that Reed had in year 1 still occurring in year 3.

Which 4th down? 4 and inches and we hand the ball off out of shotgun 4 yards deep, or 4th and 1 and throw yet another dirt ball?

Either way, neither have no business in their respective positions. Thats on elko!

Dirt ball. Perfect play call and successful situation for a QB. Reed was out of the pocket which is what his supporters clamor for, and yet he still can't make the play. There's nothing else an OC can do if that play isn't executed

Only thing i blame the OC on is thinking they can turn Reed into a pro style qb. The plays were there and running lanes were freaking every where.

Watching Reed role out clean on that 4th down play, with a wide open receiver, then stuff it in the ground tells you something.

I mean, sure, if you've been under a rock. It's obvious he has the yips, and has been obvious for 2 years. Any time he is in a high leverage situation and has to think, he panics. It is mental. There is a chance he will play much better now that he has nothing to play for. But he must hit rock bottom first.
