No, none of this nonsense makes sense. Calling paid professionals "student athletes"? Only 10% of so-called NIL money comes from corporate interests. The transfer portal is a glorified free agency. To paraphrase Shakespeare...a sewer by any other name would smell as bad. All of this is less regulated than in professional leagues where there is a functioning governing body. The NCAA is a bureaucratic, do-nothing dumpster. In 5 years or less, if this doesn't get reined in quickly, only a handful of college athletic programs will be left standing. The rest will be bankrupt.
