I think most would agree the interviews are dumb.
That's not the point. They've agreed to do them. Have for years. Every other coach does them out of respect for the fans, the network, and the folks conducting the interview.
But Sark is too good for all of that now. It's disrespectful and unprofessional as hell.
He's the kind of guy that demands respect from everyone but doesn't give it.

The optics of it are bad and I guarantee you he'll make some half assed forced apology this week because his bosses in the AD and the university know it was a bad look.

I don't care, personally, about Sark. Texas has Ana amazing team and they know how to win and that's what matters here to me.

It's truly an incredible feat to:
A) somehow take a thread about Sark's unprofessionalism and turn it into an anti-A&M tirade

And

B) advocate for Elko to be a jerk to reporters out of the belief that it will somehow get us over the hump.

Being a jerk doesn't make you better. Being better makes you better. Winning isnt about 'class'. It's about culture and having a program that wants to be the best and has a method to make it so.

When Elko's team is ranked #1, he can be a little arrogant, too.

The Ags are out of excuses and have been for decades. Some teams just have a winning attitude. A bad game or bad year doesn't stop them. It's not permanent for them.

I have no idea what the hell the issue is, but Elko should go hang out with Sark for a while, maybe take the sips out to some business lunches and find out why they are successful and the Ags have a monopoly on mediocrity.

I hope i have to eat these words, but something tells me they will validate. I'm glad we don't play ohio and really wish we didn't have to play the sips because that's going to be an ass beating.
