Heat is heat. People say the Texas heat is worse due to the humidity. That is true when comparing the same degrees of heat.

I was in Phoenix two weeks ago and it was 115 degrees during the day, and 109 degrees bases on the car thermostat at 10:30 pm with the sun being down.

HOT IS HOT.

That shouldn't be an excuse for them.

Were they tired and wore out due to the beat down from our players and we probably have a deeper bench--most likely.

My thoughts exactly but it's hot in Arizona too.

I've camped in Nevada in 103 degree heat. It was way more manageable than 95 in Houston. Especially in the evenings. You just have to keep after your hydration there more.

humidity literally short circuits your natural cooling functions. the sweat cannot evaporate thus it cannot act to cool in the manner it is supposed to.

a dry heat causes you to lose more liquid because it is sucking it out of you. both are dangerous but they cause you to overheat for different reasons.

Um they struggled a lot too hell they never led until about 30 seconds left in the game and it took 21 points in the fourth and tOSU to lay a turd for them to win.

ASU will win 9 games this year.

I've ridden a mountain bike in college station and in 105 desert. The humidity is the worst. It's just harder to move humid air into your lungs. And sweat doesn't help you cool.

In the desert, if you stay hydrated and the keep sun off you, you can go all day.

This, the tu game was rigged thing, is garbage. I hate that tu won especially when you could almost see the life squeezed out of them. However, OSU had every opportunity to put that game away. The 4th down decision to go for it in the 1st instead of kicking yet another field goal was devastating. Failure to recover the last two fumbles by tu were missed opportunities. The missed field goal near the end was the last nail in the coffin for OSU. However, Day's inexplicable decision to play defense in vain and drain the clock when they could have just let tu score the inevitable TD was just coaching malpractice. Compounded by the fact Day called his last TO that could have been used to help them get down field for another crack at a game winning field goal. Turrible. Just turrible.

None of that even touches on OSU's defense being gassed and Julian Sayin becoming a liability by the end of the game.

No it was entirely OSU that blew this game. Day should be seen as the average coach that he is, buoyed by the stockpile of talent that OSU has been collecting.

Never been to Ohio in late summer? It gets hot there and they do have some humidity. And it was a night game. September evenings are hot but not unbearable

I didn't go into the deep explanation that you did, as I live on the South Texas coast and understand humidity.

The point I was making was, though they don't have the humidity we have in Texas (I.e., 100 degrees <or whatever> and feels like 109 <or whatever>), when they have temperatures from 110 to 120, humid heat or dry heat, that's phuching HOT. I understand the evaporation of your perspiration…

So it's not like they don't work out in the heat.
