When a team is considering intentionally not scoring a td on the next play, they are hoping for less time on the clock. The clock stopping is the only reason there's any time left at all for osu to possibly do something

It's crazy how Texas has scored 21 unanswered points to take a 24-23 lead with 25 seconds left. Ryan Day's decision to go for it on 4th and 2 instead of taking 3 points is coming back to bite Ohio State in a night road game.

Yup - not taking points when you have them hurts. Plus, they went down and hit a FG after the turnover on downs. It was a 6 point swing.
