We were watching on TV.....3 of us and a teenager...all of us commented how much we could hear the DJ on TV ....it was that loud. That's too loud IMO
There was a point that I reached up and put my fingers in my ears the music was so bad. Looking around I noticed I wasn't alone. All ages were plugging their ears.

Few seasons ago sat in sect 348 .... the embedded speaker stack in the alumni side decking seemed to be pointing right at that section.
Had a noticeable punch... I was cooked by game's end.

I haven't been to a game in about 8 years. I like hearing the commentary, having front row seats, cheap refreshments, and no line for the bathroom.

My guess is much of the opposition is coming from GenX and not "boomers". Most red-eye tick tock addicts that use the word "boomer" have no idea what it means.
So a little education.... when a dude/chick in the 40-55 ish age range tells you your music is too loud, these are not folks clamoring for Sinatra and Martin.
These are folks who crammed as many Kicker 12s into their chevy S-10s as humanly possible. These are folks who grew up listening to Metallica, Pantera, Alice In Chains, Rollins Band, DJ Magic Mike, Nemesis etc. etc. the list goes on.

Maybe listen to them. You might learn something.

Your grandparents were a tad bit more vocal than you realize. Probably would have been spamming TexAgs like mad given the chance. They tried to outlaw "dirty" music but for the little free speech thing. They did however put enough pressure on industry that your parents could not walk into Hastings and buy the album they wanted.
Google Tipper Gore and Frank Zappa. Actually a really interesting piece of music history if you are into that kind of thing.

My first game in years. I had a blast, and I expected it to be loud. As I have damage in one ear, I brought hearing protection. Kyle was loud when i was a student, but the dj was very loud. I would just say to plan accordingly. To the youngs, please protect your ears as tinnitus is not fun.
