Big 12 filing in federal Court today really tightened the screws on him. The situation was not going to resolve itself and would have been a bad deal for him and tech once the season started

After their public embarrassment tour last week I can't imagine it was tech who wised up. Pot committed at that point. I think he's is the one who decided it's not mentally worth it. He was a going to get raked.

Well that's how settlements go. Not claiming I know what they agreed on but I would assume he did not get $5MM and may not even be entitled to any of it. But maybe they came to some sort of agreement to just make him leave and be done.
