The other was to do the right thing, because at the end of the day it is your reputation that is on the line and no one will remember the money, and you can sleep well at night knowing you did right.

That is essentially what my Dad told me. At the end of the day, all you have is your reputation; do what is right.

Never trust anyone who's ass is broader than his shoulders.

He taught by his actions. Helped me out with no interest loans for grad school and I paid him off within a year. Helped his brother buy a truck and home while he was paid back at zero interest. Had 2 of his 3 sisters live with him to help get them on their feet. Both are now successful and happy in what they do.

He was a tall and serious man but he gave the shirt off his back to help family.

God took him too soon. I miss him.
