Elko is close to signing the number one class for 2027 with Haddad committed.
Should make for a really good 2028 season.

The only question who will be the QB in 2028?
Is Brady Hart the answer, good size, highly rated.

I don't think we will sign #1 class as our average has fallen and no longer in the top spot. We are #2 in 247 composite and #3 in their own averages. So, several that are in on high rated players as 5*s and many others in the top 100 have less commits so we will likely be passed up by some of them.

I really wouldn't worry yourself so much about rankings of our class vs the fit Elko and his staff have found. They seem overly happy with what they are putting together and I fully believe this 27 class will be extremely setting for our future with several or should say many getting NFL drafted in the future and many going in early rounds. It's a class loaded with talent and fit that will help our team and what our coaches want to do along with great fit for our coaches to develop them and help them go early in the draft.

I will admit when Elko was hired and after losing so many off the roster from the 23 season, I thought we would go 7-5 or 8-4 in 24 and I thought 9-3 or at best 10-2 in 25 and what do you know, we went 8-4 and then 11-1.

I have predicted 9-3 with floor at 8-4 and 10-2 ceiling for this year, but I have said for a very long time that I thought 11-1 or 12-0 in 2028 and even though I think Reed will be gone, I do think 11-1 or 12-0 is still where we go in 2028

Just keep doing top 5-10 classes and we will be fine. Elko has shown they are better at evening out classes and getting focused guys.

I'm not sure what you're looking at as we are in a large lead for #1 in 247 composite, On3, and 247 rankings.

And we are in tight races for 5 more top 100 players. No one is catching us in 2027.

This is the most Aggie post ever!!

We've now moved two iterations BEYOND "wait till next year" to "wait till the year AFTER next year"

Absolutely perfect.

And yes, if this class holds, Natty in 2028! Unless we don't, but in that case, "Natty in 2031!!"

I clearly stated that I was looking at the average. It was clear...............here you go

as our average has fallen and no longer in the top spot.

But, you mentioned something else that I was wondering about. Who are the tight races for 5 more top 100 you are talking about?

I am curious as to who you think we really will land that are in the top 100? But, this is all just discussing recruiting rankings and I will tell you that really doesn't hold as much water for me as Elko and his staff getting the guys that fit what they want to do and are able to develop them for future NFL draft picks. I think Elko and his guys are all over it and that's what is important.

Still, from a ranking discussion standpoint, I am still curious about the 5 top 100 and who of those you really feel we will get

Lastly, as for the top spot, do really think schools already high in the composite rankings averages like ttceh who currently holds #1 and only have 13 commits. We are #2 with 21 and then USCw right behind us with only 13 commits, Miami at #4 again barely behind us but also have 2 less commits, Ohio St right there in striking distance at #5 with only 14 commits, ND sitting at #7 with a chance to pass us by getting just one more commit with Kaden Henderson (as they seem to be with the momentum heading into his decision date 7/1), whorns are sitting at #8 with only 14 commits and look good to get at least a couple of 5* guys (Meredith, Camara)

My main point is, smart money would say the field as there are so many teams with many less committed and could possibly catch us so to think #1, is probably not the odds on favorite bet

BTW, who gives a s**t if we end up #1 or not? I don't. I know we will have a strong class and the fit the players hit for us is what makes Elko so much better than the other coaches and what I really care about.

Simien, Dobson, LWC, Mcfarland. Not to mention Meredith, Camara and Henderson as other possibilities. That's 7. Get roasted and GET OUT OF TOWN.

You sure do type a lot to say very little.

No, it would be 2-3 years even if they all stayed and developed as hopes. 18-19 year old kids going against 22-23 year old young men is a losing proposition. There are very few Myles Garrett's / Sam Adams / OL McKinney bros.

First off, I was responding to OP and you didn't have to get in there and show what a dumbass you are. I appreciate the laugh though. Thanks

Also, regarding your last hateful post on this..........

Simien------I am hopeful he wants to come play with his cousin here, but no guarantees and the longer this stretches out, the less our chances
McFarland-----I am still hopeful and still think we get his commitment here in the next couple of weeks on 6/28

Dobson-----It seems from all indications he is leaning elsewhere and sure that could change, but as of today, it has clearly been stated by staffers on here, this is leaning away from Aggieland
LWC-------This seems like he ends up elsewhere later in the cycle and will probably get over paid which we just won't do. I hate to see it, I really wanted him but can't blame the young man
Meredith-----Definitely seems as of today, it's the whorns and staffers on here have definitely put that out even though I felt it for months now, I am glad to see they have posted it. Sure, we could make a move late before he commits but as of today and the longer this stretches out, again, he will probably get over paid elsewhere. Good for that young man.
Camara------Flat out freak of a human being here. He is and has been my #1 want on the board since he went to that competition, I can't remember which but it was a big one and he won OMVP 1 yr and DMVP the other year.............Again, generational, special type of freak...........Staff has indicated as of today (back whatever day that last update was regarding Camara) and for some time now that he is going elsewhere and even stopped posting about him, maybe you haven't been paying attention since you listed him.
Henderson------Brauny posted today that ND has the momentum and to be honest they have for weeks now. He decides 7/1 so we will know in just a couple of weeks but smart money is on ND as of today.

Since you stated it in your last post, I am assuming you haven't been keeping up. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Even though you were an ass about things, I will say, I hope this truly helps you. Gets you up to date and you have a pleasant evening.

Sounds like a lot of guesswork, especially when the poster said " And we are in tight races for 5 more top 100 players". There are two (2) things I know well in this life, tight races and tight asses. You are the second (2nd).

None of what I said was false. All of those players we are in on, in more ways than one (1). We will not get all seven (7) that I mentioned, but could very easily get three (3) or four (4). That would put us at eight (8) or nine (9) five (5) stars. Nobody is touching that, and no one is touching you either.

You are not the recruiting guru you think you are, no matter how bad you want to be. And you are nowhere near the small business operator that I am, no matter how bad you want to be.

So once again, get back and get #Jerry'd

Dude you are a complete D Bag. Wow!!!

I am not, nor have I ever claimed to be or even had the thought that I was a recruiting guru. All I have done is pay attention to what's out there from staffers on here, some national recruiters and other sources and it is pretty clear on the details I posted for each target, so no, you dumbass, it's not a guess, more like a calculated, educated estimation.

BTW, just for your dumbass, like I said, the info I posted was to help and clarify for you and others that may not know. I didn't know you specifically didn't know until you showed your ass on here. Thanks for the laughs.

Just to add, if we get McFarland (as of today, looks like we will) and he commits 6/28, you need to understand he is currently on the 247 composite #38 nationally which would mean unless he moves up to a better, improved spot, he would fall outside of the 5*s (more than likely b/c I don't think we have ever seen somebody that highly ranked maintain their 5th star). Also just to add, who gives a s**t b/c I think he is a badass and ultimately Elko and staff want him. That's all that really should matter, not whether he has a 5* or not listed by his name

Beyond McFarland, I am really hopeful for Simien, but the others have several have been clearly indicated by other sources but even the staffers on here have mentioned, such as Meredith being favored to go to Austin, Dobson with a lot of Michigan momentum lately and even indicating that as of recent would expect him to land elsewhere. LWC no indication and even staffers on here saying they have no idea of his lean right now. Henderson is clearly committed to ND and staff has admitted that is the pick today.

Again, not a guru, was just trying to help and paying attention, pulling your head out, will help you in the future not look like such a dumbass after you act like a dumbass on here to somebody who has just been paying attention. Thanks again for the tons of laughs. Hilarious S**t!!!!!!!!

Just b/c we had this exchange, I wanted to get back with you right away. Brauny just posted an update on Henderson and while everything they have been posting was showing ND, he has now posted an update that we are fighting hard and it seems like Elko is making a surge in momentum here.

I want to be clear here, this information is coming from Brauny, not me. I don't want some ass getting on here and accusing me of thinking I know it all or I am a guru b/c this information is coming from Ryan, I am just trying to help pass it along as I was this whole time. Also I hope it helps you, you little small business owner.

Hey amskier - looks like I was right about Henderson and you were DEAD ASS wrong. Go figure. You have a history of being wrong (Bryce Foster transferring, Buzz not leaving etc).

Next time you speak out of your anus, think for a micro second that maybe, just maybe, Jerry the small business owner knows a hell of a lot more than you.

I don't give two (2) bloody hemorrhoids if McCfarland is a five (5) star. The original post was to name top one hundred (100) players, which I did.

Again, looks like I am right and you are wrong. Even though you were an ass in your response, I truly hope this was insightful for you as you clearly were misinformed.

Talk soon, amskier.

We don't have to talk soon, you're a complete jackass and yeah I guess small business is good for some. BTW, I don't care if you think you are smarter or if you actually are smarter. As I said, I was just trying to be helpful and to their surprise ( referring to staffers on here) where they clearly said it was ND, it was just that surprising to them.

So, again, since your dumbass can't seem to get something across which I am sure since your head seems to be up your ass, I was just trying to be helpful with information and it was clearly stated from other sources and clearly regarding Henderson and referencing staffers on here. So, I will PM them and let them know you are the recruiting guru and they are stupid compared to your Holy Greatness in the knowledge of the recruiting world. I am pretty sure Brauny, Jason and Looch will realize just what a dumbass you are. But, we will laugh. Can't thank you enough for that you jackass.
