Great for him and great experience, will be fun. Having said that………

Skeleton and luge are awesome, great fun to watch, bobsled……. meh, especially 2/3/4 person bobsled. I know there is more to it than just sitting there, but it isn't nearly as thrilling as skeleton and luge and doesn't seem as much skill and athleticism involved.

For Winter Olympics I like watching luge, skeleton, and downhill skiing, the hockey is good also (actually wish the NHL was more Olympic style hockey).

That is a stupid comment. So your logic is he was fast and a good WR but we didn't throw him the ball as he was a walk-on and not a scholarship player? Yes, I agree, many coaches will leave better players sitting on the bench as they just don't want to win.

There is a lot more to being a player than running fast in a straight line.

Saw some Aggie jerseys on the bobsled broadcast.

Currently in 12th after 2 runs with 2 more Sunday.

To play a walk-on to some coaches is an admission they failed in recruiting. They'll keep playing scholarship players in hopes they will do better.

And the "horror" if the coach plays a walk-on that does not do well. Even at A&M, the 12th Man is no longer a walk-on.
