If I'm not mistaken, Ty Simpson lead the conference in passing yards... and it was only like 300 more yards than Marcel Reed. It's not like Cam Coleman wouldn't have ample opportunity to shine here. There is no reason to be losers about it.

A&M top 2 receivers were the #4 and #5 WR in the sec in 2025 (total yards)

Bama had #7 and #20
Georgia had #13 and #51

He would put up plenty of yards as long as he's ok with them not being in big games.

I think Coleman is worth whatever the asking price is.

Something is just not clicking with Bussey at WR, and I'm not sure what it is. I think you try him at safety or slide him back to RB

Define "shown".
Because if he's not getting the ball thrown to him, the only measure you've really got is the return game.
And he's done pretty well in the return game.

There's nothing wrong with what he can do, once he gets it.
But if QB1 rarely ever looks beyond #7 and #1, it's gonna be hard for anyone that's not wearing #7 or #1.
That includes all the TE's also. And ABR.

#7 and #1 each had about 60 receptions.
After that you had 4 other guys hovering around 20 receptions each.

Wrong I'm hoping we use him like a former Wiggins weapon Metchie at Alabama. He needs to be the one we line up in empty and run jet sweeps with or line up in 2 back and have double swing pass attacking whichever LB is the weaker in coverage.

If Cam C isn't persuaded back to Aub, many early guesses have him going to OSU or sips.

Sips are about to spend at new record levels and a few prognosticators speculating tu lands Coleman to pair w the prince.

Every receiving target is subject to the QB's decisions.
Watch the games. He's open a lot. TE's are open a lot. ABR's open a lot. RB's are open a lot.

Yet #10 has a tendency to seek out #7 in triple coverage, or sometimes try #1 instead.

You can blame Reed for quite a bit, but not for Hussey being small and average for the sec.

Hoping we refused to spend money on a real offensive coordinator so we go get guys like this!

Not sure if Coleman will be the same as KC nil wise. KC was going to the highest bidder and let it be known if Coleman is a nil deal only we need to go get him. Craver needs a true number 1 in front of him to showcase the ability he brings to the table.

Sayin was record setting accurate. Also, with Smith on the other side, Coleman doesn't have to worry about constant doubles, rolled safeties, and cheating linebackers. OSU probably makes the most sense from a stats +media attention +trust in coaching staff perspective.

Also, glad the Bussey to running back opinion is taking hold - been saying it since his freshman year, when he was clearly 1. A solid block reader 2. Patient 3. Too stiff hipped to be an elite WR 4. Built like a running back.

Something tells me the coaches are more interested in getting Dallas Wilson since he has 2 years left, but he hasn't entered the portal yet. I'm not sure if he will.

I think Coleman's price tag is going to be too high.
