Conner Weigman already set a Houston bowl record with his 4th touchdown pass, and there is 4:42 left in 1st quarter. This game will turn into a shootout.

That's weird, because it was 21-14 at the half.

I corrected it to say it has been a shootout so far.

Wow at that ESPN field reporter. Asked Conner to speak about setting a UH bowl record w/o much setup, waits for Conner to finish and says - on mic - "Cliche after cliche. Good quarterback. "

Can we give LSU to the BDF Conference.

What an embarrassment. Losing to Cougar High.
They need to get their crap together with Kiffin or get out.

How did they lose to Cougar High? A commuter school?
I'm going to Tiger Droppings to read the meltdown.

After LSU led Houston 14-0 with 12:14 left in the 1st quarter, Houston outscored LSU 38-21 to defeat LSU 38-35. As a result, Houston has won 2 consecutive games to finish 10-3, and they reached 10 wins for the 6th time in 20 years and for the first time in a power conference since 1990. LSU has lost 2 consecutive games to finish 7-6 (3-5 SEC), their worst finish since a 6-7 (3-5 SEC) record in 2021. I noticed several other trends:

1. Houston snapped LSU's 119-game winning streak when leading by 14+ points.

2. Houston snapped LSU's 3-game bowl winning streak by handing them their first bowl loss since a 42-20 loss to Kansas State in the 2022 Texas Bowl on 1/4/2022.

3. Conner Weigman set a Houston bowl record with 4 touchdown passes.

4. LSU scored 35 points after not scoring more than 25 points in any of their 11 regular season games against FBS opponents.

How could he throw 4 TDs when the score was 14-7 in the 1st quarter? AI bot has a glitch or something.

Sorry, I mistyped it. I meant 4:42 left in the 3rd quarter.

Folks were wondering why Tech got a first round bye.

THIS! THIS RIGHT HERE is why tech (the BDF) gets the bye. Over the past few years with regularity bigger conferences go into their bowl and lay an egg against the XII team. Is LSU a dumpster fire this year? Yes! But the W-L is what will be remembered and what will be condensed down into a start sheet.

It'll be overlooked that the bowls got the bottom half of the SEC, with 5 teams taking CFP berths. What will be said instead is that over the past X years the XII was whatever record against SEC, ACC, and B1G in bowls

I congratulate Houston for barely beating a dumpster fire as a ranked team from the former BDF.
