Option B: Football beats Miami but loses a close one to Ohio State, but Vball loses to Kentucky in the final

A: Because I wouldn't take a National Championship away from the VB team.

Those Aggies that won yesterday were totally dominant, top of their sport. Years of dedication. Lots of it without any fanfare. True competitors.

No, revenue generation is good for the university. I follow the football team bc I enjoy watching football


A win against Miami would've proven that the program is ready to compete on the biggest stage & defeat another playoff team. This would help with recruiting, fundraising, perception, etc

agreed when it was crunch time i wqs nervous beciase i have BAS but they didn't seem nervous or tight at all. they played with confidence like the outcome was never in doubt. it was really cool to see any team with texas a&m on the front of the jersey play with that mindset.

it would have proven we were slightly better on the day than a 2 loss team alot of people thought shouldnt be in the playoff. In 6 months no one will even remember it except us and miami fans. Its fine to just say you dont care about volleyball and would take one more gameday (that you've already conceded we would definitely lose) over their title. The difference between winning/losing against miami if you're conceding we're definitely losing the quarter final is null. It has no bearing on recruiting, and your revenue points are reaching to explain an illogical position.

I enjoyed the hell out of volleyball's run. It was fun and likely the most dominate an aggie sports team has ever been.

I asked this exact question last night and for me it's easy to pick the VB NC.

What gets interesting to me is if you compare reality to the scenario of both football and VB getting to the NC games and both losing.

I still think I'd take the VB NC but it's a close one if both teams made the NC games.

The last game we won on a major stage was unc in the 2020 Orange bowl & half their team opted out

Winning a playoff game would've meant a lot for the program... All the reasons I listed are valid

Only a total ****ing idiot would think a hypothetical question selecting one teams win over another defines character

Look, I'm happy the volleyball team won this year. Happy the Women's basketball team won it in 2011. Happy the golf teams and indoor/outdoor track teams have won NCs over the years.. Hell, I'm happy about the meat judging. But damn. Once, just one GD time, I'd like to win one in football, basketball, or baseball.

B. Congrats to the girls but they are nameless and faceless to 99% of the country. Winning a playoff game and going 12-1 would have changed narratives.

There was 100k+ yelling their ass off for our football team. We deserve better.
