When you take a step back from the BS, and look at it objectively there's only about 3 kinds of people who use that acronym.

1) People who use it jokingly
2) Trolls
3) Actual self deprecating losers with low self esteem.

I'll joke about it from time to time, but losing a game and crying about it is embarrasing. I stay away from people like that.

I've been watching Aggie Football for decades, and I love it. Some people just can't get over their own childish emotions, and it's embarrasing to watch.

Eh I've been in recovery since 2015… it's been tough. Let's not shame others mental health

I've never had it. More like frustration in not fulfilling our potential. Aggie football will always be my sports passion. Really dont follow much else except the Masters, Opens, PGA championship.

BAS is what makes us the butt of a lot of jokes. WE need to get rid of it.

Eh, you grow up and deal with real responsibilities and trials of life that give you perspective not to let things you can't control get to you. Still though, sports matter, and when you win it's great and when you lose it sucks. I think BAS is a sense that A&M won't ever get there. I disagree with that position, and think we've taken very tangible steps to change the culture, and the results are starting to show themselves.

People are behind the team, it's the team not winning that's the problem.

Why? These players get paid a LOT of money. They are paid to perform and when they don't, they need to be called out. No different than the coaches now.

I was told we lost the Texas game so we could perform in the playoffs. We won neither and were thoroughly embarrassed in both. If that isn't BAS fuel, I don't know what is.

My problem with what you wrote is you are taking minimal responsibility for why it is what it is. I'd rather a reasonable dialog on what we are seeing than calling people two percenters.

Team sure seemed to play w BAS t"vs Miami and even vs tu for 2 yrs now (esp OL, Reed, kicker, run defense)…so please go talk to them that it's a cop out and why aren't they listening to coach as the past is the past and we only look forward.

Defense did more then enough to win the game. Offense was bush league trash.

BAS comes from chronic inconsistency in our team. It's been there across multiple coaches for generations. I don't know if we need an exorcist or if it's in the water (it's pretty ****ty water) or what, but it's in deep.

Yeah, I don't think most of these posters even have a clue what BAS is and why it exists. But boy they sure like to yap on the board criticizing others.
