Can't afford to give any edge to the opposing team. The fact that Elko doesn't understand that is somewhat disturbing.

It was regrettable, but back it up and we are talking about Zuhn 30 years from now.

It made exactly zero difference on the field.

This is like the coaches wardrobe, or weight, or the DJ, or any of the other **** people love to bring up when you don't win.

Didn't like Elkos comment about their "small player" as well. Just not smart on his part.

Then he downplays any possible extra motivation. Well, the team that wanted it more won. So there's that.

It was utterly meaningless.
That stuff lasts for a play or two if that.
Zuhn's mouth didn't lose this game. Our QB and OC did.

Why take a chance? And we both don't know whether it did for sure or not. But You talk up the other team. Not the other way around. Listen to how Cristobal's players talk about the opposing team. He understands this and his players did as well. T

his was something I thought about when it was said and so did many others. And if it didn't matter than why were the Miami players making a big deal about it. I know it would piss me off. It seems like common sense to me. It's the little things that matter when it comes to close games.

Zero chance bulletin board material had anything to do with what happened on the field today.

And I don't think Zuhn's comment was nearly as controversial as people on here wanted it to be. He didn't have a detailed answer to a reporter's question, so he just tried to sound confident saying "we'll be ready." It's not like he was throwing around unsolicited commentary.

His reply didn't create issues we've had all season long.

*the only problem with his answer was the part about not having watched Miami. That may have been a problem.

Bain disagrees…

Elko did pick the kicker because he said it was a mental issue

May not have made a difference, but what are the pros and cons? It sure didn't seem to fire our guys up to back it up.

If you run your mouth, you better be able to keep that guy from sacking your QB 3 times in a game

We were overconfident, just as we were with the whorns.

Bain nearly doubled his sack total today, on top of blocking a fg. wtf are you talking about?

To be fair, that FG attempt was going to be blocked by whomever was kneeling in the way.

It was no great feat. Ball wasn't ever going to rise above the crossbar.
