University should quietly ban him from any further representation of the Aggies on gameday, etc.

He was on a video thread on ESPN app that said he'd be there as the Guest Caller.

I was just wondering why he didn't show.

I had an idea based on history, but was hoping there was a better reason. Sad for that guy.

He had too much fun last night and couldn't make it today.

Because he's a horrible representative of Texas A&M football. He could barely show up to practice/games as a player, him not showing up to college game day / the actual game didn't surprise me.

I obviously understand why he's "royalty" but dang how much I wish for another Heisman winner to replace him for good.

I knew the Ags were in trouble when Manziel was a no-show and the overalls kicker missed the $1.5-million field goal twice.

It's not like there's a history there of model behavior.
The assumptions on here are well within bounds given how "on brand" they are for Johnny.
The real question is why so many here continue to gargle his balls after nearly 15 years of immature and unprofessional behavior and squandering every opportunity he's been given….opportunities that 99% of the population will never have.

Likely so. It's also possible he misread one of our jocular posts here suggesting the game was actually AT Miami, so really, that's on us.

But at least the needy of Miami benefitted from his ministerial outreach. Sort of a Christmas miracle for them.
