Go pay Lagway whatever it takes and hire the best quarterback coach you can find. Reed is a turnover machine and will never get better. We don't have time to waste on him. We need an able quarterback now! Let Reed go so we don't have the disruption. We know what he does, so if he is our quarterback next season get ready tor the Texas bowl. Most embarrassing loss in our history which is saying something.

You do realize the defense only gave up 10 points genius. You can't put any of this on the defense. They would have had to post a shutout with Reed at QB and Klein making the calls.

Start with the nonexistent running game. Crappy online play, nonexistent special teams, then bash Reed.
The run game doesn't exist because they can force Reed to play qb. Teams figured him out this isn't complicated. He's a liability
He had some absolute glory moments this year. But any rational person watching the games this year should realize that he EASILY could have had another 10-12 INTs this year. He is very serviceable. But he is not a playoff caliber QB.Magneto said:

Quit making excuses for Reed. He had 3 f'ing turnovers today. This isn't on Elko, Klein, the refs, or the easter bunny. This loss is 100% on Reed.

Reed was not good today but he was not the only issue.
We had no running game.
Our run D got exposed again.
Klein has only been able to generate 2 TDs in 8 quarters

It is hard to make things easy for a low-60% passer. If Reed weighed 220 lbs you could live with that and win big. He is too small & too inaccurate to have anything other than a streaky offense.
Overall, Reed had a great season. Winning 11 games in the SEC regardless of how you do it is no joke. But he is 100% responsible for the loss today. His accuracy is just not good enough for a D1 quarterback. He makes up for it with his legs to some degree but slightly better accuracy today and we have 28+ points. Multiple drives ended on a incomplete pass, where the receiver was open
Repeat…Reed is clearly not a championship caliber QB. Bail on him and bring in a new transfer QB. If not then Elko will get run off in 2-3 yrs.

Klein didn't make those ****ty throws. Reed was downright terrible. A serviceable QB wins that game easily.
Canes fans have been seeing the Aggies pretty much take Miami for granted that it would be a win.

I want to be kind but I have to tell it like it is. Reed it not the guy for two reasons. One, he does not execute passing plays well. Over annd over and over again he makes poor throws. Two, he makes bad decisions. A LOT.
Elko should go find a better QB in the portal. I can tell you right now that's what Kirby Smart would do. So would Kiffin.

Klein didn't throw it behind or over every receiver he targeted.
Both QB's were missing all day. Almost like it was a difficult throwing environment. Really glad the Kstate coach came in with a heavy pass game plan and never adjusted nor showed any creativity.

No. Reed kept us in the Arkansas and notre dame games. He cost us the Texas and Miami game. Almost the SC game. Defense won the auburn game. Your a trend guy HA you know how to read data
Any defense that pressured the QB beat Klein because he has no clue how to call plays in that situation. Reed was running for his life most of the game. The Miami DL won the game.
When one guy is responsible, he bears the blame.
Inside run defense, lack of consistent running game and an inaccurate qb all contributed to the loss today. It was there for the taking and we wilted.
Reed has clearly digressed. The 64 billion dollar question: "Is he salvageable"? Can Elko make the right decision or will he dig in his heels like Jimbo? I would drive the Brinks truck up to Taylon Green's house.

Outplaying Beck isn't an accomplishment. Beck sucks too, but he didn't have 3 turnovers either. Reed did.
Miami decided that stopping the run was important and knew if the game was in Reeds hands, eventually he would make enough mistakes and they were right.
On the other side of the ball Beck refused to throw the ball in harms way. Brilliant gameplan.

70%, 1 TD & 0 picks is a lot better than 64% 0 TD, 2 picks & a fumble.
Elko better upgrade the most important position on the field or next year will be back to 7-5/8-4
