Him and his family are straight trash

Watching him on the Heisman presentation show I told my wife, they coached him and his family up and pleaded with them all to behave themselves
It was all fabricated , that's not who they are.

They have showed the real them several times.

But Diego will not get to the NFL.
He will make plenty of money being a social media celebrity . Crazy time we live in where a guy like that can make crazy money on social media.

His family are consistently causing scenes and acting like a-holes during games. I was disappointed to see it, such a sad look.

I think y'all are giving this dude wayyy too much credit and throwing out the term celebrity LMAO…

JFF had Drake & Lebron and was the hottest thing social media wise in the country- this kid doesn't have any of that.
The only time we will ever hear of this kid over the next 5 years is when he & his family are having run ins with the law. He will go the way of the DoDo bird

Disappointing.

I liked watching him play with grit and hustle. I pulled for him as the underdog on Vandy, who has sucked forever.

But, he seems to be mesmerized by his own sense of celebrity, pride, and arrogance.

Class goes a longer way in this world than many people think.

Just another flame out.

The voters got it right because Fernando Mendoza threw 6 more touchdown passes 3 fewer interceptions than Diego Pavia, and he led Indiana to an undefeated 13-0 Big 10 Championship Season and the No. 1 seed. 24-year-old Diego Pavia has crossed the fine line between confidence and arrogance. I was rooting for Pavia to win the Heisman, but I am glad Mendoza won it by a landslide after noticing how Pavia has become so arrogant.

I thought Pavia was the best player in college football this year, as he lead a downtrodden Vanderbilt program to great heights the last two years. And like he said, he's a competitor and he wanted to win the Heisman and after losing the award, his emotions got the best of him. I respect his apology as a young man and he is still learning from his mistakes.

He DID apologize, so let's give him that. How many of us have made similar, stupid, comments in anger -- only to realize, no, that wasn't right and we really messed up? I know I have. You're a liar if you say you haven't -- maybe not at his age, but at some point in your life. So then, the knock on him is immaturity.

Even if he got help writing the apology by ANY means, let's not automatically assume it isn't genuine. We'll have plenty of time to figure whether it was or not. What he said wasn't completely unforgivable. Technically, not much is, but that comment certainly isn't.

With that said, it appears that he and his brother aren't THAT different, given his brother's recent, stupid actions at a Vandy game. I'm reminded of the quote that goes something like, "adversity doesn't build (or necessarily build) character; it reveals it." Hopefully, in this case, it actually builds it. Either way, I'm betting he'll be forgotten about in 2 years unless he does something else stupid.
