Why does he always look like someone just hit him with a bright police light in his face?

Johnny at least had the excuse of immaturity.

This mf is 32 and on his second divorce.

Wiki lists him at 5 ft 9 in. Some group photos (with family) indicate he may be even less. Be interesting to see how he measures up at the combine.

Could he be dealing with the 'short man complex'?

This dude has surpassed his 15 minutes.
He's got no future as a football player after Vandy.

I have made some mistakes in my life (small and big), but I don't think even at my lowest I would do what he did. He knew EXACTLY what was going to happen.

He has ego problems, his family has spot light problems, I just hope he grows up and realizes this isn't it.

Focus on yourself.

He DID apologize, so let's give him that. How many of us have made similar, stupid, comments in anger -- only to realize, no, that wasn't right and we really messed up? I know I have. You're a liar if you say you haven't -- maybe not at his age, but at some point in your life. So then, the knock on him is immaturity.

Even if he got help writing the apology by ANY means, let's not automatically assume it isn't genuine. We'll have plenty of time to figure whether it was or not. What he said wasn't completely unforgivable. Technically, not much is, but that comment certainly isn't.

With that said, it appears that he and his brother aren't THAT different, given his brother's recent, stupid actions at a Vandy game. I'm reminded of the quote that goes something like, "adversity doesn't build (or necessarily build) character; it reveals it." Hopefully, in this case, it actually builds it. Either way, I'm betting he'll be forgotten about in 2 years unless he does something else stupid.

Did he apologize or did the Vandy team tell him what to write. It is hard to know these days what is coming from the person vs what is coming from the team. His apology sure was better said than what he was apologizing for. I hope it was from him and sincere, but forgive me for being slightly skeptical.

Zero chance "he" wrote that. Either his agent or reps from the school are handling his self-inflected damage control. His 15 minutes are almost up.

He got ripped off and he reacted.
College Football has become a beauty contest.
If Pavia were an Aggie and you all would be raising cane.

He was like Johnny the most productive and entertaining player in CFB and deserved better.

If he played for a big brand school he would have won it.

Heisman Trophy is stupid. More about them than the players though former winners do vote.

He'll be drafted in the 5th to be a backup qb.

Like a Baker Mayfield but 10x the ******

Except Baker is way better than him, collegiate and professionally.

I don't think Pavia will get drafted

Didn't Baker get tackled by police when he tried to run from them when he was drunk?

Not sure I would compare their professionalism. Baker was very arrogant and he has admitted that he needed to grow up. When he did grow up, his career and playing got better.

i honestly wish he was an Aggie just to see how many of you would keep defending him and encouraging that behavior even though it would be obvious to the rest of the world he has a problem...reminds me of someone else from a few years back when he was spiraling and the excuses were countless from many of you

By professionally, I meant the the NFL. He got drafted 1st overall and has carved out a nice career for himself.

That video was hilarious though
