Yep

We've bucked almost all the other negative trends so let's buck the gameday losing trend.

i wonder if we are the only school that gets upset by getting game day. it would be fitting.

An they were never here for an Oklahoma State game. They may had had a reporter here for the RWB game and did an interview but the Gameday Crew was not here.

It's our 12th time to play a game where GameDay is, but not the 12th time we've hosted it.

ESPN College GameDay has been to College Station 8 times. We are 1-7 in those games, including losses to Notre Dame and Texas by 10 points each. The only win was 45-38 2-OT win over Tennessee on 10/8/2016, and I was at that game. We snapped several losing streaks in the past 2 years, and this is an opportunity to break the GameDay curse.

11/11/2000: 35-31 loss to Oklahoma

11/4/2006: 17-16 loss to Oklahoma

9/8/2012: 20-17 loss to Florida

9/14/2013: 49-42 loss to Alabama

10/8/2016: 45-38 2-OT win over Tennessee

9/8/2018: 28-26 loss to Clemson

8/31/2024: 23-13 loss to Notre Dame

11/30/2024: 17-7 loss to Texas

Gameday was on campus for the Oklahoma St. game in 2001, not 2000. I made it on tv several times wearing a maroon troll head I bought with meal credits from the Commons store.
