Spoken like a true cowgirls fan. Texans have a better record and are on a winning streak, but you wouldn't know that since you're no different than a sip fan who thinks you're winning the Super Bowl every year.12Power said:
Jerrod Johnson is a great Aggie. I hope he is not getting dumbed down while being on the Texans.

Another guy I am seeing some rumor about is Brain Daboll.
For those that don't know, he was just fired from the Giants. However before his stint there he was the Bills OC from 2018-2022(Hired to Giants in January of 2022. He is credited with Josh Allen's development. During his time with the Bills, they averaged 24 PPG. For the first two years however, they averaged about 16 and 17 PPG. In large part due to Josh Allen needing to develop.

Applying myself.
Resume:
-Will not call trick plays on the goal line
-Will not call a deep shot on 3rd and 2 after consecutive 4 yard gains on 1st and 2nd downs
**just a joke, actually liked Klein a lot. 2-3 terrible decisions I've ever seen him make. I'm sure if they had worked we'd call him a genius on those 2-3 though.

Been dropping his name for days.
Won a Natty as the OC for Saban, and Saban himself was propping him up for the Penn St gig.
If Saban's a fan, I'm a fan

Saban will stick up for all his past coaches regardless if they are good or bad.
What everyone is missing is exactly what type of offense fits what Elko wants (he said it multiple times today that the OC has to fit what he wants done). Some of the names don't fit as we definitely do not run pro style. We need an OC and coach who fits offense to personnel we have (esp to the QB…each and every yr as they hange w different strengths and weaknesses).

I know this probably isn't popular but give me Petrino and stay out of his way.
He's a worse version of Sumlin on offense. Great offensive mind. Worst nightmare for his own DC.
His teams will be up tempo and score 45 points a game. Yet there is a reason they don't win. He hangs his defense out to dry playing way too many minutes a game and they give up even more points than they score.
He's the perfect example of what a defensive minded coach like Elko knows not to hire.
We're looking for someone similar to what we had this year. A balanced (run and pass) offense capable of going up tempo and be explosive when needed, but otherwise is happy slightly winning time of possession and scoring 38 points a game to complement the defense and win 10+ games.

Does Elko actually choose his assistants? The former $75,000,000 noodle brain didn't, the AD did all the picking and hiring.
