Historically, we just play overly tight against them and make critical mistakes. It's like our players are too tense and worried about losing because they know how much the game means, and it ends up biting us. And that has seemed to be the case throughout the decades regardless of how good we are.

The 1980's say hello.

You're right. There was one decade out of 12 where beat them a lot. I guess there is like an 8.3% chance that we won't do what I described above.

I've got the refs down for 4 game-changing calls pro sip.

2 fake personal fouls when Arch gets his feelings hurt.

1 pass interference against us that was committed at the 5, but they'll say it was in the end zone so they can have first and goal at the 1

1 TD of ours called back for a fake holding - either a long run or a kick return.

The refs will have to get creative, especially since the used Magic Punt Placement vs. Arkansas last week. You can't use that thing 2 weeks in a row.

This right here. By history, which I suppose is BAS.

I've seen this all before. The hype and talk of how we're going to dominate only to watch a game that is the opposite, watching the horns play at their best, and calls that seem in their favor.

When I started school the sentiment passed down from older Ags was we always beat Texas, which was true at that time. We suffered one loss in eleven seasons. Well, we lost my first year ('95) and proceeded to win 5 and lose 13.

I have not seen very much success against Texas and it doesn't seem all that strange to worry.

But, yes I agree with Elko that we cannot judge this team by history and teams past.

Wait... so you're inside their head, or actually know what they're thinking and feeling?

Are you a wizard???

Also, how does Moss feel about fuego queso vs torchy's?

He prefers Fuego overall, but he likes the Torchy's queso better because it has a more robust green chile and cilantro flavor profile.

I'm not worried about them.

Aggies - 52
horns - 10

Aggies dominate both sides of the line of scrimmage. Marron Goons keep Marcel's jersey pristine, while Arch Manning gets the "Detmer" treatment from the Ags defense. Howell has a field day and adds five more sacks to his total.

Every Aggie suited up gets in the game and the horns manage a trash TD late in the 4th quarter!

Thank God I did seven years of my undergrad work that decade.

Worried is not the right word. Full of hate is more like it.

If I'm not mistaken, their fans are the ones who are worried based on the posts elsewhere on the interwebs.

The sips arent bad. They get calls. We do not get calls. We are playing in Asstin

Plus the SEC probably believes it's better to have Alabama and Georgia in the title game.

I'd be surprised if they actually wanted that again. I think most people are pretty apathetic at this point to that matchup.

Not most people living in the city that does replay reviews

If we played them in the first few weeks of the season, we would have curbed stomped them. But the reality is, to anyone who pays attention, that they have improved over the course of the season. They will be the second best team we've faced this year, behind notrre dame. We should win this game but if we make mistakes early we are going to be in trouble

Thursday, as you sit with your family and friends, recognize that you have absolutely nothing to be thankful for. The world is trying to take over from you every thing you have ever wanted and ever wanted. The commie loving tsips in assitin are going to do everything they can to bring stanins rule over the earth and block the righteous from victory. Be not over come with evil but ove come evil with good!!

imagine how many Aggies will be in Atlanta spending $$ on that game. Better than Bama and Georgia for sure.

And the answer to OP's question is ...

If we have another half like we did the first half against South Carolina, there damn sure won't be a comeback.

And with all due respect to Elko (and much is due), that's not comparing this team to any past teams, it's comparing it to the same team just 2 games ago.

That's all.

Got to win special teams, we should win elsewhere
I wanna see our defense pissed off, not confused, maybe a little murder in their hearts Reload12, 11/4/11

Let's see. We have the worst-tackling defense in the SEC. Our run-game is mediocre. And our offense stalls too often.

If we go in at half up a TD, we win easily. Will be like the Georgia game.

If we are down at half, not so sure we win.
