That's because our coach was a dumbass. A tie was = to a loss for them. He couldn't understand that.

We either had identical records or Tx was one game ahead in 90. Everything sorta fell their way that yr. We blew an early two TD lead I think

I was a BQ so I wouldnt know this, but what is the bell in C-2 and what is the criteria for getting your name on it?

I doubt we were favored. We were 8-2-1 with a loss to UH and a tie with Baylor plus a loss to LSU. tu was undefeated in conference play with a single loss to Colorado. They were ranked 5 while we were unranked. Going for the win didn't cost us anything.

Bowl season was glorious as tu got humiliated in the cotton bowl and we humiliated ByU in the holiday bowl.
