I believe Mac is a big TCU and tu homer, but that most of his takes are shtick and trolling engagement whoring. His worst takes seem designed to engage with fanbases with the side effect of pumping his preferred teams.

I always like listening to Jen Engle on the Galloway show a long time ago, but have not heard her cover college sports nor heard her recently.

I do agree the fact that fanboy journalists get to vote for rankings and awards is ridiculous. That supposed professional journalists will act like this gives further proof for the need of impartial CPF committee and professional referees.

Unfortunately, she has a segment every Monday on my local sports talk station that airs when I'm driving home.

Mainly yaps about the Cowboys, so DGAS. But sometimes talks about college with the most innane takes and annoying voice.

That whiney ***** and fat ass Mac deserve each other. Unfortunately they have a kid, who fortunately isn't on the radio yet.

I usually just turn the damn radio off when she's on.

In their defense, I think people from far off places like the NE/New Englanders, college in general and particularly college sports and football are just too different from what they are used to. The fact that there are 3 major state universities in Texas with huge student bodies, they can't compute.

I ran into some folks on a ski lift once upon a time and was wearing some Aggie gear and they were asking about it. Say how many kids go there, 10k, 15k?. At the time we were around 50k and they were absolutely flabbergasted at the size. They are used to all those small private schools up north with 5k kids for a big one. That we care about and are good at football is just nuts to them.
