Why are we still dogs @ tu?

This makes no sense. Understand the rivalry aspect, but future odds all show us as dogs (double digit from what I can see) and ESPN predictor shows us with greater odds of losing than winning. tu sucks and does nothing right on offense. We have won @ ND, @ LSU (at night), but are still dogs at t effing u?

Seriously, I would rather have this going into the game. The Aggies play better as the underdog.

I saw that, but couldn't find anything else. Have you seen the current spread anywhere?

Take tu ML. They win you win $$$. Ags win, you lose $ but we beat tu

Win/win

I'd rather lose money in this scenario

This is why 61.3% of sports bettors lose…

Because ESiPN keeps doubling down on their obviously wrong assessment of tu. Same reason they climbed 10 spots in the rankings right before playing Georgia. They couldn't fathom tu dropping completely out of the rankings again. This is why the Ags have to take belt to ass to them in the final game of the regular season.

I hope it stays that way. We play better when we are disrespected.

Look at Marcel's road stats this year…..

72-119 60.5% 1063 yards (265 yards per game) 9 td's 3 int
31 carries 229 yards (57 yards per game) 3 td's

He tends to turn it on under pressure… and play well on the road.

I think he'll be dialed in against the 'sips - and they won't be able to stop our speed. We can't stop the run, but their running game sucks. Make Arch pass to beat you - you win the game.

I know a lot about a little, and a little about a lot.

i don't think there is one anywhere.

but it will be A&M somewhere between -1 to -3 (barring some crazy event)

Poor Arch, so much hype, Manning last name and plays like this.

Who cares. As long as our team shows up focused. That's all that matters.

And my guess, is they will do just that one.

I love that we played an awesome 2nd half Saturday

But we just squeaked by the worst team in the SEC by one point at home.

What happened Saturday will live in Aggie lore forever, but I doubt it made the bookies more confident in our team.

Reed's Heisman odds increased considerably after the game.

They are not the worst team in the SEC. It's the hogs. And then State. And then the cocks.

They also played their best half of the year. They were ready off their bye.

Why is this a problem? Bet on the Ags and make $$$.

I'd rather be a underdog in every game we play.

Explain how that makes sense.

They just got dismantled by a slightly less complete team than A&M. They lost to Florida. Should have lost to Kentucky and Miss. ST. And now they're playing an 11-0 #3 Texas A&M?

Any other team and that's a touchdown spread or more similar to our Missouri game.

And I think that makes sense. Heisman is about a narrative, and Reed coming back from the worst half of football anyone has ever seen to play a spectacular 2nd half and win is a hell of a narrative.

I don't think bookies care about that.

Take at look at the current ESPN FPI rank. It's absurd.

ESPN should be ignored as far as football odds/rankings.

-3 for Ags is almost a TD spread since homefield is worth 3.

If the game was at Kyle Field this year we wouldn't be dogs. The sips seem to have their ducks in a row at home this season. It's their performance on the road that has really cost them.
That seems to be the calculus in the betting odds.

They are not going to drop a line for our game until after the Arky vs. tu game, same for basically any other game.

i don't disagree that they should have lost those two, but pretty easy to make the argument we should have lost to SC.

The betting lines next week won't be favoring the horns by double digits. Zero chance of that.

I'm guessing will be Aggies minus some small number of points, or perhaps a push.

a pickem at worst, tu gets 3 for being home, but I don't think they would be favored on a neutral field.

Do they have their ducks in a row at home or have they played nobody at home?

San Jose St.
UTEP
Sam Houston St.
Vanderbilt

Vandy is the only decent team of that bunch and I don't think they're all that good. Texas also looked like crap against UTEP.

The current spread for the Arkansas at Texas game this Saturday is Texas -10.5 points. I'm guessing the websites that the OP looked are simply showing the same Texas -10.5 spread for Arkansas as a spread versus Texas A&M.

That won't be the spread for the A&M game. I think it will be A&M favored by less than a TD or at worst close to a push.

I can tell you that the horn insider types over there are pretty worried right now about how their secondary with a lot of blown coverages got torched by Georgia on Saturday, and have been talking up a lot of concerns about what the A&M passing attack might do to them...because they all seem to agree that A&M's WR room is better than Georgia's.
