I am reading a lot of smoke on their message boards about Elko being their top target. They are also saying he hasn't signed an extension, which is weird cause I didn't know we have offered one. Should we be worried?

And per Mike (and Michelle) Elko, They aren't leaving - Said on the Elko Radio Show a couple weeks ago.
We have been a destination job through the last five coaches, too! None left…until put in a wheelbarrow.,.Detmersdislocatedshoulder said:

Schlossnagle was unhappy in Aggieland from day 1. He never liked it here. He didn't like our lack of cheerleaders/dance team at football games, our lack of a dance team at baseball games, the classic rock played at Olsen Field, or the new Athletic Director. He liked nothing about us, and then his boy CDC landed in Austin, ran off the baseball coach, and the rest is history.
Elko, on the other hand is happy where he is. Also, the Penn State job would be a step down career-wise.

I dont think he is leaving, but in no way does him saying : he is not leaving" weigh in on my opinion at all.
Every coach says there are staying..until they leave

I typically agree with your opinions. But come on man.
Penn St leads A&M in every category that matters. All-time wins, all-time winning percentage, National Championships, playoff appearances (about to be tied)
2023 (.465) A&M bowl record
32212 (.600) Penn st
I don't think Elko is leaving anywhere but damn. Ask 100 fans around the country which of the two is the more premier program
