Just keep it going, it looks like we could have a special season (BAS still here, go away HOPE)

And do something to shut up the people griping that we have had an easy schedule. The people in Austin are saying we have it easy this year, but they had a similar benefit last year. They go quiet though when you mention that they lost to one of the "easy" teams we played this season.

10-2 right now would be disappointing, but would still be a successful season overall.

Based on how things have shaken out, 3-1 would be disappointing but a success, 4-0 is what should happen. 2-2 would be a huge failure.

If you could guarantee me 10-2 right now with the win being against texas I'd be tempted to take it. I think 11-1 is a great season by any metric. I think we will be favored to win every game so it would be disappointing, but understandable, to not win them all.

SERIOUSLY. And calling the playoffs "loffs"??? WTF?

4-0 is the only thing that qualifies as success. Now, that doesn't mean 3-1 would be abject failure, just that you can't really call the month a success if we lose to a lesser team, and none of the teams we are playing this month are better than us. Obviously, Missouri and Texas are good enough to beat us, so you can't be too upset if we drop one of those two on the road, but we're better than both of them.

very important to stay healthy and get injured players back. assuming we can make the playoffs if we are 100% healthy i like our odds against just about anyone

It is not a total unmitigated disaster if the Ags drop a game to Missouri, but ATM needs to win the rest. And yes, this includes Texas… which, after them beating Vandy, has become more critical.

I agree - from where we sit right now to lose games to Missouri (currently 9th in SEC standings) and tu (currently 5th in the standings) would suck. Might even get knocked out of the playoffs if that were to happen.

2-2 or worse is a November failure.
3-1 is fine.
4-0 is incredible.

Need 4-0 to break the narrative and that is something this team looks like it can accomplish.

Win the two home games and split the two away games and playoff berth is 100%. Though good chance still in playoffs if go 2-2.

Need to win out to make SEC Championship game and clinch first round bye in Playoffs. That is the primary goal so let's win out.

Theres not a team left on the schedule with equal or more talent than A&M.

Success will ONLY be defined by winning the NATTY..... this year or any other year ! If you think "success" is anything less than a NATTY then you need to re-think your position. We've only had one, and that's been over 85 years ago. How can you defend anything else as "success"..... it's just 1rst loser, 2nd loser, etc.....

Realistically: Win 3 out of the last 4, with beating tu being requisite. I'll be okay (a few days after the season is over, whenever that may be for the Ags) if one of the following happens:

1. 12-0 regular season, make playoffs, win at least 2 playoff games. (Assuming a loss in the SEC championship in this scenario)

2. Win SEC championship, win at least 2 playoff games. (Assuming a loss during regular season)

3. Advance to national championship game. (Would make up for missing a 12-0 regular season finish and SEC championship.

Beyond that, i'd either have to win the lottery or tu would have to burn down (no injuries or deaths to sip students or first responders, just to be clear) for me to be consoled after starting this season so strong.

I want us to win it all and I want the best for our team, but looking back on the season, any of the above would be considered progress.

Win 11 by the end of November and win 2 after that. That would be a great success.

I saw somewhere that right now our chances of making the playoff are 96%. It will be an epic choke if we don't make it.

SEC championship would still mean a lot. We haven't even been to a conference championship in 27 years.

We've only won 10 games 10 times since before WWII.
10-2 would absolutely be a successful season.

Undefeated and we beat horn so bad they fire sark. Abbot holds a press conference demanding the horn AD resign and they begin a coaching search with Hugh Freeze and Brian Kelly as the primary targets but horn fans insist that they should make Saban say no before entertaining other offers.

There is no way we lose to Samford so OP would take 1-2 for the 3 remaining conf games???
