Weeks is pretty banged up according to my lsu source. He's arguably their best LB. Perkins has just about quit, they're playing him out of position.

I believe we shut down the run game, forcing them to rely on the QB. Edge to our D.

10+ point win for us.

Which means he'll probably be the next Bruce Matthews against us given our historical luck with backups on the other team.

LSU QB isn't a scrambler though. When you eliminate that threat, it allows you to do more things to get after the QB.

At MSST he went 11 TDs for 7 INTs, Im not convinced his mobility to avoid the sack is helpful if he makes bad throws in the scramble.

Not true...got hurt during Vandy game - it was known.

I am old enough to recall last year against ND when their starting LT was out. Worked out well for us.
Different years yes I get that. This year we are sacking the QB more than last year(we have not played world beaters on offense.)

lsu and BK are going to be hungry for a win, especially with losing last week.

like alot of football games in the SEC its going to come down to:
turnovers
penalties
and making your own luck.

I'm talking about teams as a whole not individuals. As a team gets worn down, they tend to play slower and get hurt… then it just snowballs.

I think this game will come down to turnover margin. If we are even or better, we should win. Because Marcel Reed and the offense did not have a giveaway against Arkansas, we were able to win a 45-42 shootout. With one turnover, we probably would have lost because we did not get a takeaway either. Also, we were 3/3 on 4th down conversion attempts and stopped Arkansas on one of their two 4th down conversion attempts.
