the backup LT graded out at a 14 on PFF. i didn't even know that you can be even get ranked that low

IIRC, the Florida LT (who was a back-up starting for an injured Gator) graded out at a ZERO against us.

I certainly didn't know you could score a zero.

The line moves on dollars, not press releases.

One cannot assume an SEC team only has 20 - 30 good players. And you can't assume a coach cannot scheme without taking the personnel into account. For all we know, LSU may have a hidden gem that even they didn't recognize until he set foot on the field Saturday.

LT Adams out will match Howell against the backup.
I like our chances.

Weeks Lane Kiffin X future son-in-law doubtful

I was wondering why the Weeks' nutsack cam wasn't part of the game last weekend.

LSU, like most SEC teams, has talented backups who may or may not be ready to go. I know better than to get confident looking at an injury report.

We lost Scooby for a couple of weeks, and Sanford emerged as a playmaker. Technically, Reed was a backup when he ran all over LSU last year. You never know.

I am factoring Kelly's record in ranked games more than the Tiger Stadium at night record.

Kelly is 5-10 in ranked games at LSU I believe.

This, for all we know in practice the back-up is 90% of the player the starter is. This being his moment to shine, he rises to the occasion, plays up to or surpasses the play level of the starter and then falls back to earth next week.
It could be an opportunity for us, but to look at it now as a given that we will destroy the kid and sack Nuss all game is hopeful thinking.

This is probably the best defense we will play all year, at night in Death Valley. Regardless of how bad their offense is or how good our offense is. Getting a win would be huge. A win moves me from thinking we have a decent chance to compete for a conference title and chance to make/do something in the playoff to we are legit legit contenders for the conference and a legit title contender.

Looks like they decided not to play the backup against us. Going with a true freshman. 6'5" 320lbs

This. If your LT is a weak spot, expect TE on that side plus a back in support. Of course that means fewer receivers running patterns, but it would cut down on the pressure getting to the QB.

Don't underestimate a coach's ability to scheme around known weaknesses, on both sides of the ball.

I'm a normal game, there's a 50-50 chance of winning. But we ain't normal this year. We have a hundred percent winning this year.

Oh boy, we weren't 100% to beat Arkansas, and LSU is much better than Arkansas

LSU doesn't have Taylen Green nor Bobby Petrino.
