Hot take: Our 4-0 record has very little to do with coaching. It is much more the product of:
*Roster.
*Schedule:
-UTSA and USU cupcakes.
-Pleasant road win against a ND team that probably isn't as good as advertised. Thank you backup QB for gift wrapping the botched PAT.
-Our tougher games are at the back end of the schedule.
-We don't have to play the SEC's best teams: Bama, Georgia, Ole Miss, TN
Call me on Nov 9th after we've played @arky, @LSU, and @Mizzou to tell me how great Elko is.
Since you're replying to OP, I'll guess you're defending Fisher. Did you forget Jimbo couldn't get a play in on time, and sometimes after a time out.
Did you also forget that his offense could rarely hit a receiver in stride. The only plays the WRs could execute with any level of consistency was a stop route.
Fisher was a recruiter. He failed to develop some very talented players. Every QB he coach has happy feet. I guess they didn't have time to get their heads straight when play finally came in.
