The defense isn't suspect. It's not very good right now. But one game at a time. The Offense is playing much better. And deficiencies with almost any team right now.

My man, I'm an old Ag too. Plus an Oilers/Texans fan. By all logic I should absolutely hate the game of football. But since I don't the alternate is to be happy when we win and hopeful this is the year we get it done. Just like last year.

1. You mistakenly think i said these are the temas that "shiuld be ranked" top 10. I did not. I said these were the teams that i believe are the top 10. Ranking brings all sorts of other issues into the equation, and i dont really vare about that.

2. You never addressed the facts I put out there about Tech. I believe NO TEAM in recent memory in its first theee games has dominated its competition as completely as Tech has this year, no matter how weak or strong.

Tech is a different Tech because of the staff they have and the talent they're acquiring. I believe they have earned consideration of a top 10 team. but i know why they're not ranked there.

p.s. they may well lose this weekend and i come away still thinking theure a top 10 team. i also believe that about Utah. Should be a great game

If they win at Utah then I will begin to believe they are a serious contender . I don't think they will.

We're definitely worse than a few teams behind us. Tennessee & OU for starters. If our defense vastly improves, you could convince me we're Top 10 and even better if Reed starts hitting open deep WR's and doesn't throw INTs like he kept coming close to doing more of.

There are not many great teams top to bottom this year. I think the NIL and constant change is starting to really show up in college football.

This is absolutely ridiculous and reflects poorly on the athletic department as well as players (and coaches).

Our defense is not championship caliber. Our offense is. We will have to score a lot of points.

And you realize their defense couldn't keep Vandy from running up the score?

Which 4 teams do you think we are going to lose to? LSU and Texas look very bad on offense, so those games do not look nearly as difficult as they did going into the season.

Agree with all, but yes on the bold for sure. I think a lot of that goes to Marcel's pocket awareness (some is prolly oline too). He's improved tremendously in that regard. He has a good sense of when it's time to bolt.

1 of those sacks was not even on Reed.

Reed and O-line done a good job in that aspect for sure, so far.
