This is the most confident I've been about a high-profile game in a while (most confident doesn't mean very confident).

Last year's game was closer than the score said. It was a tie game in the 4th. They scored the go-ahead TD with 2 minutes left and tacked on a field goal after that.

Our biggest weaknesses last year have improved: QB play and the WR group.

They will probably run on us, but their line isn't as good as last year. Their QB is unproven. Their secondary is not as good as last year.

Against Miami, ND had 3.3 ypc.

Take away Price's longest rush of 30 yds, and the rest of their carries yielded 2.3 ypc

I don't know how our defense will do, but if we can have SOME success limiting their rushing attack, we could do well on the scoreboard.
