I learned from the coach fran years. Just except that the best the Aggies will ever do is 8 and 4. Maybe 9 and 3 maybe 10-2 every 20 years. 8 and 4 or 7 and 5 is the best outcome. Once Aggie fans have excepted that, they to can live a healthy non bas life.

This. If you are one of those "Natty or bust" types, Aggie football isn't for you.

I don't think anyone is actually "natty or bust". I think what we're tired of seeing are things like consistent November meltdowns, highly rated recruiting classes turning into nothing, coaches phoning it in after they get a contract extension, and the constant "send us even more money and that will solve all of the problems" message from the athletic department, TMF, etc.

But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31 (NIV)

We've only had about 11 ten-win seasons in 130-ish years of playing football, so it's not like we were stacking up fantastic seasons before you were in elementary school, either.

I see you don't know much about REK and his convos between sets...

Slocum only had three 8-4 seasons in 14 years. Also had five seasons of 10 or more wins.

And a losing bowl record and a losing record against top 25 opponents and never once had us in a position to be anything approaching a national powerhouse.

We are guilty of..8-4 every time.

I do. Just trying to have two conversations at once. Acknowledge REK and set another poster straight.
