Yeah, I don't see it.

We have a great RPO quarterback... but we use him as a dropback passer and don't call RPOs.

Our top RB is coming off a bad knee injury.

Our second RB is coming off a bad leg injury.

Our third RB sucks.

Our OL is uninspring

Everything you said except for Moss' injury is wrong. And Moss is expected to be 100% by fall camp at the latest.

Good argument.

1. Our QB played his first real game against LSU 2 seasons ago. He was successful with 1 play, the RPO. We run it once a game since.

2. People may say Moss is 100% but the reality is that he is WAY more likely to never play much again than he is to be 100%

3. Really, I am wrong? So you are telling me Rueben Owens played all of last season? In the last game I think he was on the field for 2-3 plays and still didn't look healthy. Owens never did much before the injury and now he is a superstar, right?

4. Really? You think I am wrong about our third RB sucking? Without looking up who the heck he is... name our third running back. Chances are good you don't even know his name. And chances are also good he will be our primary back.

5. So you are saying our OL is not uninspiring? Last season during and after EVERY SINGLE GAME the whole board was lit up with posts about our OL sucking. Are they all of a sudden going to be good? You really think they are going from the cause of our QBs problems to a solid group?

Pump that sunshine. This is a 5-7 team.

1. We run plenty of RPO, certainly more than once a game. And we definitely don't treat him like a pocket passer like you stated. We ask him to make some throws from the pocket, but he is a QB so that's kind of his job sometimes.

2. Just because you think something doesn't mean it's true. Elko said Moss is going to be 100%. There's not really any reason to lie about that. Doesn't feel like he's more likely to never play again.

3. Owens is already back from the injury. He was coming off the injury last year, made his return, and played some snaps. Expectation is he also should be 100%.

4. Amari Daniels. 4-year guy with probably something like 200+ carries under his belt. Anybody would consider him a very viable RB3, and he would get carries at a lot of SEC schools.

5. The offensive line is good. They were good last year. Every college football expert thinks so. They are certainly far better under Klein and Cushing than they were under Jimbo and Addazio.

I have my concerns about this team, and I am certainly not a sunshine pumper, but you are just wrong on these points and looking for things to whine about.

We'd go at least 9-3 with a legit QB, if our OL doesn't suck. Last year a good QB goes 9-3 with our schedule and even middling OL & porous defense.

Reed was way down the list of issues last season

If the defense doesn't fall apart down the stretch or moss doesnt get hurt we beat Auburn for sure and maybe USCe

If both didn't happen we had a good shot at beating sip as well

Those two things changed us from a 10-2 or 9-3 team, possibly even 12-1 to 8-4, even with how Reed played

this is off. If moss doesn't get hurt they probably beat South Carolina and definitely beat tu

Keep in mind Elko has already set a precedent here for allowing injured kids to play when they probably shouldn't (Weigman)

Not that big of a stretch to imagine Elko doing it again with Moss and/or Owens

We are at the pumping stage. UTAH state will keep it close until we lay on some trash points. After ND we will be the best 1 loss team in the nation. After that the slide will continue.

I can't see the future but I know the past.

I agree with you and I've been saying this for years. Tell me where our QB ranks in the SEC and I'll tell you about where we will finish. It's that simple. A&M keeps trying to make average QBs elite and it doesn't work that way. It was Fisher's downfall and it will be Elko's, as well.

UTSA beat us in baseball, too

Early-year mid-week versus going 3-0 vs the sips and knocking them out of their own Regional as the #2 national seed. I stand by my comment, get a sense of humor.

Last year's team goes 9-3/10-2 without the loss of Moss.

Dubious.

South Carolina: He has to be worth >24 points

NMST: not relevant

Auburn: Maybe Moss catches that 2pt conversion? Even so, that only ties the game and leads to a 5th overtime, not a guaranteed win. Even with Moss in regulation, we're still vulnerable to bad snaps from Faaiu which prevented us from converting that last 1st down. Also, our offense was statistically the best it was all season, so I don't see how Moss changes the calculus here.

Texas: He has to be worth >10 points. More reasonable for sure, but that's still against the best run defense we played all year.

QB is the greatest individual difference-maker, RB is way down the list usually
