Wow! Big news!

I'm sure saying you're going to be tougher than anyone else and yelling louder during practices is going to turn A&M into a program that nobody else has been able to do.

I'm eagerly awaiting the inevitable success and will banish any thought of mediocrity from my expectations!

Been striking out at QB and OL for awhile, maybe OC too - idk. I don't doubt our defense will become good. Offense, I have to see it to believe it. QB Casuga seems like our only chance at this point if he stays committed, and pray he stays healthy once here.

I'm not an Elko hater, and I wanted him to be the head coach when we were searching.

That said, I'll believe when I see it.

Until then, I have no hope for anything better than 7-6/8-5. This program is such a letdown.

Elko has a big mouth for someone who hasn't won a single meaningful game here. There is exactly a zero percent chance that we ever surpass all of Alabama, Ohio State, LSU, Georgia, sip, Notre Dame, etc. and become "the premier program." Maybe we will have a year out of every 10 we can play with them, but we will never be more "premier" than any of those programs and numerous others too.

Exactly this.
Until we're putting 10+ players into the NFL Draft every year with consistency, we still won't be there.

It's reasonable to expect an added 1 win per year as he goes.
8-5, to 9-4, to 10-3, and so on.
10 wins in his 3rd full year.
Playoff potential in his 4th year.
5th year and beyond, hopefully the start of a great run
