Freeman showing some wisdom. I've seen too many coaches save their timeouts for after the two minute warning. That is a mistake. Your defense has to make a play one way or the other, and you want as much time as possible left. It is false economy to save those timeouts.

I heard and saw hardly anything about this matchup on social or on TV. ESPN not sure how to balance NFL vs CFB this year

A lot of people DGAF about "college" football any more. If you're still winning they may watch. If you're losing, there are no loyalty viewers, those days are gone. I had even forgotten the game was tonight until I saw a score pop up in the 1st quarter.

In before "but you're here" while reminding you we only had 26K show up for our bowl game. 20 years ago, I would have been one of them. Not any more. Laughable.

And that felt like a home game. USC is 4 hours from Vegas and it was mostly maroon.

There was a lot more excitement around 1st and 2nd rounds of the playoffs. A few of those were very fun
