12 team playoff isn't going anywhere. An 8 team playoff would have been much more entertaining, but Disney, Turner, and the NCAA aren't going to reduce product (number of playoff games).

Notre Dame came away with no points from the Ohio State 9-yard line. It makes sense to elect to kick the field goal to cut the deficit to 13 points because a 16-point deficit would have required converting 2 more 2-point conversion attempts. The odds of making 3 consecutive 2-point conversion attempts are low.

I've always heard that chance of making a two point conversion is about 40%. That would make the likelihood of getting two in a row 16% and getting three 6.4%.

A lot of people DGAF about "college" football any more. If you're still winning they may watch. If you're losing, there are no loyalty viewers, those days are gone. I had even forgotten the game was tonight until I saw a score pop up in the 1st quarter.

In before "but you're here" while reminding you we only had 26K show up for our bowl game. 20 years ago, I would have been one of them. Not any more. Laughable.
