We took one of these teams to the brink at home and very easily could have won had the lights not been too bright for wiggy.

Elk has to be excited that his team stood toe to toe with one of the 2 best teams in the country.

If we can't pull for the SEC...then the domers taking the crown would be the next best thing.

I'm pulling for notre dame not fir the reason you mentioned but just because I like them better than Ohio st

Unlike others on here, I have no issues with notre Dave and actually like the way they have run their program over the years

People like you must need frequent reminders to breathe.

The point of the post is that there is not some huge separation between us and the top 4 teams in the country. We are behind but the gap is likely manageable and that should provide a coach some solace.

Notre Dame at the end of the season is a far better team than they were at the beginning.

The opposite held true for the Ags.

That "close loss" in September means nothing. No moral victories.

ND got better and we got worse. There's no silver lining here. There's likely only cause for concern if you really want to make this desperate comparison.

NIU beat them. Are they close to the top 4 teams in the country?
